Thank you for cooperating in customs inspection to identify the presence of narcotics, illegal drugs, goods related to terrorism, money, and/or other payment instruments related to money laundering and/or smuggling of goods, which violate the national laws and regulations of the Republic of Indonesia.
Bringing illegal goods into Indonesia that are not following the provisions and/or doing smuggling activities are considered as a violation and subject to legal sanctions.
Every personal belongings of Passengers, per person on each arrival, is granted import duties, excise, and taxes exemption at a maximum of USD 500.00 from the customs value of goods purchased or obtained abroad and will remain in Indonesia/not brought back abroad.
Every personal crew good, per person on each arrival, is granted import duties, excise, and taxes exemption at a maximum of USD 50.00 from the customs value of goods purchased or obtained abroad and will remain in Indonesia/not brought back abroad.
For those of you who import goods to be used for other purposes than personal use (e.g. in an unreasonable amounts for personal use/consumption or for commercial purposes such as companies/stores/institutions/industries), are subject to import duties, excise, and taxes.
Goods subject to excise for personal use purchased/obtained abroad and not intended to be brought back abroad are granted exemption from import duty, excise and tax per adult for each arrival, in the amount of:
- 1. Making a false declaration constitutes a serious offence that attracts penalties or punishment in accordance with Indonesian laws and regulations.
- a. 18 years old or above: 200 cigarettes, 25 cigars, or 100 grams of sliced tobacco or other tobacco products, and/or
- b. 21 years old or above: 1 liter of alcoholic beverages, or
- 2. Crew: 40 cigarettes, 10 cigars, or 40 grams of sliced tobacco or other tobacco products, and/or 350 milliliter of alcoholic beverages
- Upon the Excess of the excisable goods will be destroyed.
You must notify the Customs Officer, if you are bringing money and/or other payment instruments in the form of cheques, traveller's cheque, promissory notes, or bilyet giro in Rupiahs or other foreign currencies which equal to 100 million Rupiahs or more, or foreign banknotes which equal to 1 Billion Rupiahs or more.
Should you have unaccompanied baggage upon arrival, please save the customs declaration QR code or this Customs Declaration files and contact the Customs Officer for the clearance of such baggage.
To facilitate the customs services, please notify the goods that you are carrying entirely and correctly in this form of Customs Declaration, then submit it to Customs Officer.
Making a false declaration constitutes a serious offence that attracts penalties or punishment in accordance with Indonesian laws and regulations.
